The Institute
for Spiritual Leadership has provided training
for persons interested in becoming spiritual
directors, as well as those who seek to enrich
their chosen ministry by deepening their
own spiritual development, for over 30 years.
ISL’s
philosophy maintains that it is in and through
your own interior journey that you are prepared
for service – whether as a spiritual
director, professional, friend, parent, spouse,
or leader. This vision has inspired ISL to
offer the most integrated and intensive spirituality
program in the world. Its unique, experiential
adult education model provides immediate
opportunities to experience, apply and share
what is learned in an environment of trust,
acceptance and support, and it enables the
concepts and insights taught to be absorbed
and integrated for use throughout all aspects
of life.
While the Institute is located in Chicago,
nearly 900 men and women from around the
globe and from many walks of life and faith
traditions have shared the ISL experience
and have brought its gifts to their lives
and their ministries on 5 continents.
The goal of the ISL experience is to
transform each participant so that they
in turn can transform the world into a
more peaceful and compassionate place in
which to live.
